Ledgerbird · Invoices, read and matched
Concept project by Mirava · Fictional brand, not a real business · Scale-tier build

Invoices, read and matched.

Ledgerbird reads each supplier invoice, matches it to the purchase order, and queues it for approval. Your team only signs off.

01 How it works

Three steps. Two happen without you.

Read

Forward the invoice.

Send it to your Ledgerbird inbox. PDFs, scans, and phone photos all work.

Match

It finds the order.

Every line is checked against the purchase order and what was received.

Approve

You sign off.

Clean invoices arrive ready to approve. Exceptions arrive with the reason.

02 Features

Built for a finance team of three, not three hundred.

2.1

Reads any layout.

Each field comes out with a confidence mark. When it is unsure, it asks a person instead of guessing.

2.2

Matches to the line.

Two-way and three-way matching against orders and receipts. Set the tolerance once, per supplier if you like.

Line 03 above: +0.94%. Inside tolerance, so it passes.
2.3

Only the exceptions.

Matched invoices go straight to approval. You see the few that need judgment, each with its reason.

2.4

Approvals that route themselves.

Rules by amount, entity, and cost center. Approvers sign off from email or the queue. Every step is logged.

06 Security and questions

Your ledger stays yours.

Read-only by default.

Ledgerbird reads your books. It writes back only what you switch on.

Every action on the record.

Who read, matched, and approved each invoice, and when.

Encrypted in transit and at rest.

Invoices and extracted data alike.

Your data leaves with you.

Full export at any time. Deletion on request.

Concept: certifications would be listed here.

What happens when a line doesn't match?

The invoice stops before approval and shows the reason: a price change, a missing receipt, or a quantity over the order. Someone on your team decides.

Does it approve anything on its own?

No. Ledgerbird prepares the approval. A person on your team always signs off.

What if we don't use purchase orders for everything?

Invoices without a PO skip the match and go to the approver you set for that supplier or amount.

How long does setup take?

Connect your accounting system, set an inbox, choose approvers. Most of it is choosing rules.

Can we leave?

Yes. Monthly plans cancel at month end. Export everything first, in one file.

07 Request access

Start with next month's invoices.

Tell us your volume. We reply in writing with a setup plan.
